I wonder how many other people have been in a situation where they needed to stay in their car, hopefully parked and needed access to the net. And if so, how many were aware that they could actually get a signal if they parked close to a wifi hotspot?

Though the temptation to continue using his network was strong, I decided to be a nice guy about it and set up my own when I got my new Dell. I can confirm access from the car in front of my house, and the box does say 300 ft range.

I named my network “Toronto Literacy Free Wireless Access Point”, and then, yes, I did secure it. ^_^ lol
