I was passed on pretty good link from Robbie de Villiers about a new book titled Mental Models: Aligning Design Strategy with Human Behavior by Indi Young. The book itself looks quite fascinating for anyone that’s in the design field w/ a bent to the digital side but also for the publishers use of flickr. They’ve taken over ninety pages and placed them on flickr to give an idea of what you’ll get. Take a look of the flickr set at www.flickr.com/photos/rosenfeldmedia/sets/72157603511616271 From the standpoint of promotion it allows a number of ways to promote the book digitally, creates permalinks to content which I think is kind of a small but big deal and gives enough of a taste that allows the person to decide whether it’s a book to get.

Since we’re talking books Robbie mentioned Right Hand Left Hand by Chris McManus to me a while back. You should check that one out also at www.righthandlefthand.com
