Hype Machine (probably the best source for listening to muzak on the web) has been really smart in how it has encouraged users to update their profile pic. How? By using a shot of John McCain. “Don’t be a McCain! Login and upload your profile photo today!” They’ve also made it a lot easier to find other users that like the same hard to find songs. Great release…

#Walkingtoworktoday Project

#Walkingtowork today is an ongoing photo documentation project open to anyone.

The guidelines are pretty simple.

1.Take an image while walking to work.
2. Post that image to flickr and tag the image with walkingtoworktoday (all one word).
3. Tweet the title of the image with the hash tag #walkingtoworktoday along with a link to the image on flickr.

But wait, you don't think you walk to work? You have to walk to your car to drive, or walk from your mode of transportation to the front door of where you work—so it is possible to make the stroll interesting for yourself. For more info on the idea visit the #walkingtoworktoday page
