Comparing Real Time Weather Data from my Window and iPad

Looking outside a couple minutes ago from my window I noticed some ominous clouds approaching. Wanting a better idea of what might be coming I opened the WeatherBug app on my iPad. Sure enough there’s some nasty weather coming in my direction. Weather based apps have been around for a while but I wanted to note how quickly and easy it was to transfer what I saw with my eyes to other data displayed through technology.

#Walkingtoworktoday Project

#Walkingtowork today is an ongoing photo documentation project open to anyone.

The guidelines are pretty simple.

1.Take an image while walking to work.
2. Post that image to flickr and tag the image with walkingtoworktoday (all one word).
3. Tweet the title of the image with the hash tag #walkingtoworktoday along with a link to the image on flickr.

But wait, you don't think you walk to work? You have to walk to your car to drive, or walk from your mode of transportation to the front door of where you work—so it is possible to make the stroll interesting for yourself. For more info on the idea visit the #walkingtoworktoday page
